| Introduction | Trials and tribulations of owning a young horse. We found him on Dreamhorse.com in 2006 as a 2 year old, he was living in the woods in Carnation. Pip is a registered Thoroughbred, show name Seal Cove, Jockey Club name In Gold Reality. At home he is just Pip, because he is one. He was sold as a yearling at one of the 2005 Keeneland sales and shipped west. We bought him as a two and a half year old. He had been backed and started as a race horse, but apparently flunked out. Started his hunter world education in late autumn 2006. |
