Introduction	I am traveling to Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua over the next year and a half to learn and implement sustainable techniques that provide skills and improve quality of life in rural communities. Staring out in Colola Michoacan coordinating a turtle preservation, I will learn the tricks of the trade and wield these idle hands useful once again. Continuing on to Rancho Mastatal in Costa Rica, I plan to turn poo into a potpourri of soft compost. Finally, in Nicaragua, I will spend time in Waspam working on improving public health by improving water sources through rainwater harvesting. Let the adventure begin!
