| Introduction | I was born in Colorado, and began moving with my family across North and Eastern Europe as a child. I am currently a student at The University of Nevada, Reno studying biochemistry molecular biology. My goal for this portfolio has shifted over my growth as an artist, but what I hope to communicate to my beautiful audience are the endless connections between these three seemingly polar opposite "camps:" The strange and mysterious world of art, the incredible systematic study of the structures and complexities of the world around us (formally known as science), and the unfathomable being who created it all. All of this, that enables us to study the science of what was already placed before us, and allowing us recreate and imagine it ourselves in the form of artwork. They all connect - remarkably so. And I still remain convinced that our God, who put it all into motion somehow, on a giant ball spinning 1,040 mph in vast nothingness, is the ultimate artist, mathematician, and lover of life.
