IntroductionI see the world through rose coloured glasses, stained with the blood of Christ. I don't believe in the word "unlovable", giving up on people, or liking movies more than books. {And in that order.} I firmly believe in Jesus, forgiveness, Joy, second chances, and love conquering all. {Call me a hopeless romantic if you must.} Just a few of the things that bring me joy are my Savior, family, good books in large quantities, beautiful music, vivid colors, the ocean, kind people, painting, the deep contemplation of the sky when it's trying to decide whether or not to rain, dancing, the sound of a heartbeat, telling people I love them, poetry, praying, and sunsets. My name means Star, and that is what I aim to be; a pinpoint of light in a vast night sky. I don't want to waste my life, so I attempt to live it with gusto; cherish every moment I've been blessed with. {It doesn't always work.} My calling is to help people, give myself to them, and never stop loving people. Especially the unlovely ones. That is my purpose here on this swirly sphere- to give, to serve the way that Christ did.
InterestsI have so many interests. I enjoy cooking, missions work, dancing, painting, cleaning and homemaking, writing and blogging, photography, sailing, reading, singing, creating poetry, worshiping, babysitting hyper children, daydreaming, thinking, and living life to its fullest by rejoicing in my salvation daily.

You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?

By going to Home Depot. I'd go through a lot of shovels...
