| Introduction | BS and MS in Computer Sciences from Purdue University. My real title at my last employer (until they closed their doors) was gratuitous. I was a customer facing Jack-of-all-Trades there. I was a "Finder of Solutions" and a "Fixer of Things." A programmer in a dozen languages. A solutions architect. Systems analyst. Consulting engineer. Documentation expert. Customizations engineer. Oracle ad hoc query guy. Tax guy. "Data detective." ETL person. Project Manager. And a bunch of other stuff. Essentially, I did whatever was needed. Since the company kept me around, gave me increasing salary, stock options, bonuses, stock grants, etc., I think they must have liked what I did. ;-) I have business acumen, an experience-based customer centric focus, and a unique ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals. My greatest non-technical strengths? 1) Integrity and common sense. 2) Extreme flexibility and the willingness to do whatever it takes and whatever my employer needs of me. 3) Super quick learning. |
