| Introduction | I call myself the Freestylepiper because I try to think outside of the box when it comes to bagpiping. A lot of pipers out there are strangers to many types of music outside of piping. As a result, when these 'musicians' try to create something outside of the norm from traditional bagpipe music, it often comes across as stagnant, unoriginal, or just plain done already. My goal is to bring diversity to piping (musically) and to create a new sound by taking in all that I hear around me. I want to take this already very modern instrument and help it to become something that is actually very relevant in the context of modern music. |

What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?
I dreamed that I was Spiderman about to dig into a big bowl of cereal, but I ran out of milk and then woke up with something caught in my throat.
