Introduction My name is Sheridan. I am just a plain ol' gal who felt the need to make a difference in the world. That is how this project was conceived. My interests are far and wide and I enjoy so many of the things life has to offer! I stand amazed at the two children I've been blessed with, & have a hubby of 21 years whom I adore. I appreciate good food & wine, enjoy reading, cooking, decor, fashion & obviously, red shoes! With all my blessings that runneth over, I felt compelled to do something to help others. I decided to raise money for Rwandan street kids who suffer from HIV/AIDS, have been orphaned, or just are dirt poor living on the street or being prostituted. I wanted to make it a personal challenge to myself as well. Thus, Red Shoes for Rwanda was born. I'll post photos, share my life, & let you know all about the progress of my efforts. Please join me as I prepare for my journey starting 01-01-2010 & stick with me through 12:00 on 01-01-2011 as my project comes to a close. I pray you will feel led to be generous with your blessings & support this cause as well. Many Thanks, xxoo Sheridan ~~~
Interests cooking, reading, fashion, perfume, blogging, my kids, my hubby, walking for fitness, wines, travel, church, helping the suffering, gardening, boating, animals, and a plethora of other stuff :)
Favorite Movies Chocolat Only You The Princess Bride Blood Diamond Hotel Rwanda Before Sunset
Favorite Music I enjoy many generes of music. I especially enjoy older 80's, jazz, The Corrs, and Celtic Women....But if you are talking 80's vintage, I'm there....
Favorite Books Ah.... WAY too many to list here. I am a bona fide bibliophile. I am anxious to look into the "Red Shoe Diaries" which I understand to be a classic, and have not yet read. I primarily collect older paberback classics (I love the grade school elementry smell of paste, peanutbutter and wood) (austen, steinbeck, etc. ) and new coffee table decorating books (ie. the Shabby Chic Line..., etc...).

You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?

If you could have done one thing today to have made a difference in a suffering, agonizing childs' life, what would that have been, and why can't you do that tomorrow instead of just doing what you did today?
