About me

Introduction	I have taught adult education for over 6 years, and was involved in adult literacy and numeracy programs in Ontario. For my practicum placement I co-taught in a pod of 50 students, 85% of whom were English as a second language speakers. I have also taught a grade 2/3 combined class with students who had a variety of learning difficulties. This triggered my desire to learn more about inclusive education and possibly to work as a learning centre teacher. Currently, I am a substitute teacher in the Chignecto and Halifax Boards. I am taking courses 3 and 4 towards my Masters of Inclusive Education.
