| Introduction | I’ve been in the kitchen most of my life doing a bit of cooking, baking or grilling. As a kid growing up Mom supervised me, and eventually, I was weaned from her apron skirt and was left in the kitchen alone (no major fires or catastrophes followed). Then as a single adult, I learned how to prepare meals that were simple, quick and most importantly, succeeded in filling the void in my stomach. And finally since 1995 through today, with my wife and two daughters, I am still in the kitchen enjoying the preparation of food and sharing the outcome of my efforts. Most of my formulations, or recipes if you like, are pretty simple and usually, but not always, easy. And the majority of them are not original, wildly new creations, but are familiar recipes that have been around for generations. What I’ve done is tweak them a little and added or substituted a certain ingredient here or there.
