Introduction	I'm a New Yorker, born and raised in Manhattan with the genetic mix almost as confusing as animal shelter mutt..... I am an odd ball, a black sheep lucky enough to be born among a small clan of black sheep, and proud of it. I'm an old soul, in a young body, with an open mind and a crossed inner eye.....My views on life are a strange mixture of science, mysticism, and gut instinct..... I was conceived by two medical professionals, raised by one, and spent most of my awkward youth hanging out in the hospital. It's because of all the time I spent there watching my mother, and learning from the people around me, that helped me develop a heighten understanding of sickness, pain, the true face of medicine, and the strange mixture of science and faith that make up the atmosphere of a hospital. I wouldn't say my life is unique, but I hope that reading what I've gone through and how I see the world, can help others, who may feel isolated, that they're not alone.....
