| Introduction | My career as a Project Manager has covered more than thirty years and includes many different types of projects. I started my project management work by working on the Washington DC Metro subway, the BART subway in San Francisco, the Alaskan Pipeline, the Riyadh Airport and Seawater and Sabhah projects in Saudi Arabia, the Millstone, Calvert Cliffs, Grand Gulf, Peach Bottom, Susquehanna, and Midland nuclear power plants. Then I provided project management for software development, hardware development and deployment, and the integration of network management systems in the telecommunications industry. This work included deployment of the first Sonet network. Following 9/11, I worked as the Assessment Center Director for the Transportation Security Administration in Oak Ridge, TN managing the overall operation to hire passenger screeners for the McGhee Tyson, Tri-Cities Regional, and Chattanooga, TN, and the Ashville, NC airports. |
