Introduction	Our aim is to deduce the position of differently abled people in the South African workplace, thereby establishing whether government legislative policies directed at disabled people in South Africa have been met. Furthermore, the 21St century emphasizes globalization. Therefore we aim to gain a perspective on disability in our globalizing world. Our next objective includes a comparative study between disabled individuals in the South African workplace environment and in other countries. Thus allowing us to establish the differences between South Africa and the rest of the world once again tying into gaining a global perspective.
