IntroductionFatherhood consumes me. Love my kiddo. Luck enough to have found another source of grace & gratitude with Melanie and her kiddos too. I've dj'd at a college radio station or two, written features and reviews- briefly was music editor for a glossy rag seen on the Front Range. Pride myself on being quoted early and often in the first remarks on albums and artists of impending significance i crossd paths with...either sharing the stage or scouting the scene. Btw, i have a band and am a songwriter but probably wouldn't make the cut for this blog. Although, other folks seem to want to write about my music or band on quiet news weeks, which is simultaneously gratifying and terrifying. I love the outdoors and have been a river and wilderness guide, and in a not so distant past folks paid me some real money & copious amounts of worthless stock to position start up companies and their products. I battled whiskey for years. It won. Dedicated my new career to helping others find their own way out of that scenario. Fly fishing and baseball are religions to me. So is music. Hate watching any of the above done poorly. That being said, I write. Sometimes poorly.

That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?

whether it be a fish or fish slime...nothing good happens after fish trodding. it usually is followed by immersion in something unpleasant, feet downstream fending off boulders and praying to the almighty there ain't a strainer in sight. on the bright side, you or a client have had fish contact...kinda the goal, me thinks.
