Introduction Greg Byers, cellist and bassist, is one of the most respected up and coming artists in the music scene today. Despite his youthful appearance, he has already performed in 10 countries to crowds of over 15,000 people. To his credit, he has shared the stage with iconoclastic musicians such as Dr. John, Barry Harris, Fred Wesley, Will Lee, Shelly Berg, Sammy Figueroa, Bruce Hornsby, Steve Miller, Patti Austin, Die Artze, Clarence Reid (a.k.a. Blowfly), and many more. In between teaching private lessons, gigging, and applying for graduate school around the Twin Cities, he is working on a solo EP of original music entitled Some Dark, Beautiful Morning.
