Introduction	I'm fascinated by the relationship between faith and culture. I always have lots of questions - fewer answers! But I love the challenge of thinking through tough issues. One of my favorite TV shows is Numb3rs, not because I have any affinity for math, but because this show so clearly demonstrates the way that conclusions follow from assumptions. If the assumptions are wrong, the result is a dead end and the assumptions have to be revised. It reminds me of the value of de-constructing the assumptions we make about our faith and then reconstructing a more resilient and accurate view of an elusive target: truth!
