Location Mineral Point, Wisconsin
Introduction The Walker House has been a Wisconsin landmark since its construction in the early 1800’s. In 2003 the Walker House was listed as one of the most endangered properties in Wisconsin, and on May 19, 2005 was listed along with the top 10 most endangered properties in Wisconsin. Joseph and Susan Dickinson purchased this endangered property in November 2005 Nestled in the bluff where mineral was first discovered, the Walker House, one of Mineral Point’s most storied structures, has served visitors since the early 1800’s. Miners, gamblers, locals, tourists, travelers among the employees and patrons of the railroad enjoyed its elegant accommodations, lively Pub and satisfying cuisine since the late 1830’s. This tradition will continue in the near future with a traditional pub, badger holes, civilized dining, Inn rooms and reception areas. This menu was designed to give our local friends a glimpse inside of the types of foods that we will be doing upon the completion of our current construction.
