IntroductionI am a very private person (most of the time!), who enjoys the company of close friends and family. Loyal to a fault, and a heart bigger than my brain at times! I have 2 sons ages 19 & 11, and a cat named Goldy. I try to enjoy life and pass wholesome values and experiences on to my children. I choose to have a positive outlook on life regardless of, and sometimes in spite of, the circumstances around me. I have proven in my own life, that when you rise above the storm clouds all is peaceful and clear .... you just gotta watch out for the occasional turbulence and fasten your seat belt .... then laugh your way through it!!
InterestsI enjoy spending time with my family, keeping in touch with my online friends, voluntarily helping others, scrapbooking, learning to tole paint, interior decorating, cross stitch, other crafts, camping, hiking/nature trails, travel, sitting down with a good book, music (playing, singing, and listening), musical abilities include: piano (some), organ, guitar (some), flute & tenor sax, vocals (when I'm not too shy!) I am thankful to have had the opportunity to be a member of several award winning orchestras, jazz band, and vocal groups. I love to be online but don't have the time! I love making a difference in peoples lives. Life is my biggest hobby! I work at that every day!
Favorite moviesDramas, Some Sci fi, Documentaries, and movies based on reality and/or disabilities (ex: Oprah Winfrey Presents "David & Lisa), I am a sap for chick flicks! But it has to have a story line and I hate open endings!!! UGH!!! Love Bill Pullman's movies (While you were sleeping)! I like action movies as well. :-)
Favorite musicI enjoy all types of music depending on my environment, mood, and activity. If it makes a melody, and has a beat, I LIKE IT!
Favorite booksI mostly read children's books and text books these days, but when I do have the chance to really dig into something I enjoy reading Barbara Johnson's wonderfully funny, yet therapeutic, series from Spatula Ministries (http://www.christianitytoday.com/tc/9r2/9r2016.html) I also enjoy many other authors and researching as well.
