| Introduction | At the age of 50... (Wow, thats' 1/2 a century!) I am looking forward to the next 50 years! There are still lots of things to do and see in this world... and I would like to try to do as much as my Heavenly Father will allow. I have a wonderful, loving, hard-working husband that I pray will be there to do it all with me. I have been blessed to be the Mother of 5 terrific kids & Step-Mom to 3 more. Five of those children are all grown-up with jobs and households of their own. Three of the girls also have children of their own, giving me the great pleasure of being a Grandmother of 8 sweet Grandchildren with one more due in June 2008. Their smiles bring so much joy to my life. I have been truly blessed! I have a great job of 18 yrs. with the Dept. of Transportation. Retirement is still about 12 years off, darn it!! Retirement will be wonderful!! There will be much more time for the things I love doing...and for spending time with all those Grandbabies! |
