| Introduction | Liz was born in Cuba and moved to Miami, Florida at age eight, where she earned the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship and Bachelors of Science in Communications/Marketing from Florida International University. In 2006, she founded Florida Performer Magazine, a quarterly publication that showcases the state’s best dance talents. She is the editor-in-chief and publisher, preparing to also launch online and nationwide in Spring 2009. As a journalist, Liz has contributed to or worked for UP Magazine, Florida International University Magazine, Fox, The New Times, The Miami Herald, Chelsea Now, Notibreve.org and Columbia Business School’s Social Enterprise Program. |
