Introduction	I discovered scrapbooking and paper piecing eleven years ago, after retiring from my day job (nursing) and finding myself here at home with more free time on my hands. Soon after that, I started making handmade cards. My husband (read: love of my life) and I have always had a special place in our hearts for dogs, and we are currently the proud owners of two beautiful greyhounds, Harley (an ex-racer) and Beau. I get the inspiration for my cards and paper piecings from a variety of sources, including beautiful scrapbook papers and embellishments, songs, movies, quotes, poems and sayings, life events, nature, my husband, my friends, and my dogs. I am constantly on the watch for fun or inspirational quotes and sayings to incorporate into my cards and paper sets. I love the sense of creativity and satisfaction that I get from making cards, scrapbook layouts and paper piecings AND I love that other people find enjoyment from my paper creations!
