| Introduction | On August 18th I will be leaving for 11 months to my temporary home in Managua, Nicaragua. I will be volunteering at a children's home there for children with disabilities as a part of the SALT program (serving and learning together) through MCC (mennonite central committee). I hope to share some of my experiences and thoughts here throughout the next year as a way of keeping touch with you, my family and friends!
