Introduction	Discover for yourself the talents of this self-taught North Georgia Artist. Each painting creatively captures your attention in works of acrylics. He recently won the 2009 first place award, out of 50 artists at the Sharptop Art Association exhibit in Jasper Georgia. Also his painting of Dean's Store in Woodstock Ga. is featured in the Chamber of Commerce brochure.He has numerous paintings on display in the surrounding area of Atlanta. He produces his fine paintings from his home studio in Canton Georgia. He began his painting career in Southwestern Michigan. Many of his previous paintings were influenced by beautiful Lake Michigan and surroundings. He moved to Florida in 1982, giving him the opportunity to paint breathtaking seascapes, landscapes and wildlife. In 2006, Captivated by the beauty of North Georgia, Don and his wife Tina, moved from Plant City, Florida. His past career spans 40 years in the newspaper and advertising field.
