| Introduction | Dr Julia Tilling is currently a Senior Research Officer at Boystown. Over the past twelve years she has been a lecturer and researcher at the University of Queensland, Griffith University and worked for Education Queensland/Catholic Education in Behaviour Support. She has also conducted workshops and key note speeches on Behaviour Support for specific Educational/Psychological organisations. Dr Tilling has worked extensively with behaviourally challenged students both in alternative programs and in school environments. She has currently completed research in the area of implementing successful alternative programs for at-risk youth leading to reconnecting into educational environments. Over the years Dr Tilling has been heavily committed to assisting young people at risk and undertaking quality research, particularly in school settings. She is motivated to seek opportunities that will improve the social welfare and outcomes of young people. |
