| Introduction | Hi, I was diagnosed with a Carcinoid Tumour in my lower Bowel in 1999 and the Carcinoid Syndrome in 2002. The syndrome symptoms consist of Diarrhea, Flushing, Shortness of Breath and Heart Palpitations. At the time of my diagnoses, Michelle & I had a lot of trouble finding correct information relating to Carcinoid in Australia. There was a lot about, all mainly from the US & we were not sure what was right & what to ignore for us in Oz. Most of the doctors knew about Carcinoid from text books but hadn't actually treated anyone so it was and still is a bit of a hard slog. I hope you find the info here useful & enjoyable.
