Introduction	Rutrell Yasin has been a technology journalist for a series of publications since 1982. He currently writes about information technology for a Washington, D.C.-area publication. Although information technology impacts almost every aspect of our lives, his interests extend beyond technology including creative writing, history, international affairs, foreign languages, jazz and world music, martial arts and religion. He likes to travel and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2007.
