| Introduction | My love of film began at the age of 7 when my parents not only gave me a television, but HBO to boot. So yeah, it's their fault. After landing a dream job (for me) at the local hometown video store in my high school years, I assisted the store owners and became a buyer, bringing obscure foreign and independent films into my sleepy little hometown. College brought a study of film aesthetics, story development, technique, and analysis. But mostly...a passion to talk about movies and break them down. I am fascinated by how movies make people feel. And I love the Oscars a lot. I blame my parents for that too. |
| Favorite movies | As someone who believes that any movie has the potential to be great when the credits start, I'll nonetheless mention that I find dramas, documentaries, and independent films perk my interest. I will watch anything and give it a fair chance...even "Red Riding Hood"... |
| Favorite music | Pretty much anything...I own in digital form every Billboard Top 40 hit from 1990-present...and lots before that period as well...and non-Pop stuff as well. And always Radiohead...always... Radiohead. |
