| Introduction | I am a journalist/writer with a love of traveling to exotic locations, especially with my wife, Ava, and daughter, Salome. In 2005, the three of us took off for a round-the-world trip, completing our circuit of the globe after nine months, 19 countries, and snapping 5,000 photos. Since then, we have visited such far-flung locales as Vietnam, Scotland and Ireland, South Africa, Eastern Europe and Brazil. On this blog, I write from an independent travel perspective about our family's experiences on the road. |
