Introduction	I'm a veterinarian specializing in dog and cat practice. Before moving to North Carolina, I was the director of the Cape Wildlife Center (a program of The HSUS) on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Now I spend my time caring for our four-footed companion animals (dogs and cats, that is). I'm the only board certified veterinarian in Cumberland County. Interests	Dog training, Birding, Photography, Building kayaks (sometimes even paddling them!), Gardening, Reading, Walking with my husband and our borzois
Favorite movies	Avatar, Star Trek, Chocolat, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Dances with Wolves, Born Free (When I first saw this movie, my mother knew I'd become a vet. It took me another 15 years to figure it out.)
Favorite music	A truly eclectic mix of Native American flute, drums, rock, folk, jazz, and classical
