Introduction	With the publishing of The Legend, Bonny Gilbert Ashe launches her fifth career; sixth, for those of us who consider motherhood a career. Every new start has required courage, imagination, and tooth-grinding faith in the future. From the start of her working life in the restaurant industry, through accounting, data processing and finally ministry, she has always held teaching roles and has always been a peace maker. As a Unity Minster, she learned to believe in most of the possibilities presented by her fertile imagination; or, perhaps, wild imagination. Call it what you will, Flash Gordon episodes were written and filmed long before space travel was a gleam in the eye of President John Kennedy.
