| Introduction | I've never been able to figure out whether I am more of a headstrong or selfless individual. I know I have a big heart and I love helping others. I put my son and husband on the tip of my priorities. My deepest pleasures include chocolate, wine, warm beach bum activities, dogs and other furry critters, snuggling up with my husband and surrendering to TV show nerdism nightly, dinner dates, bars, beverage sampling, sunsets, bonfires, mystery/romance/sci-fi books, writing, hot tubs; oh yes and burying myself into a fantasy world filled with toys, music, pillows, and blankets with my soft, bittersweet son (he is my weakness!). |

Why do we consider the media to dictate what is safe, a social norm, and reason to stray away from our own individualism? What happened to self education and cross-examination?! I guess a delicate balance of both are healthy and positive...I just answered my own random question. I do this quite often.
