| Introduction | I write. I walk. I have big hair. I high-five cedar branches when I walk by them and enjoy aggressively snuggling fuzzy animals. Here I strive to chronicle my nomadery and inevitable adventures, to the best of my technological, spiritual, and literary abilities. |
| Interests | I am an on-again, off-again wildlife field biologist and have worked on projects in the Rocky Mountain west related to grizzly bears, wolves, amphibians, lynx, and hares. I also work as a freelance writer/editor. I recently finished a two-and-a-half year stint at Orion magazine, and my essays, poems, and book reviews have been published Orion, Camas, Yes!, High Country News, BUST, High Desert Journal, Big Sky Journal, and in various journals and anthologies. I currently research and write the text for Birdcage Press's educational children's book and game wildlife series. |
