| Introduction | I've recently moved to the Parent 'Hood and am scared, excited, confused, and oftentimes neurotic about raising my son. While I struggle (against myself, mostly) to decide what is best for him and strive to raise a well-adjusted, loving, self-respecting, society-contributing, generally good human being, there's only one thing I can count on...I'm going to screw him up in some way. I only hope it is small and relatively insignificant in the whole scheme of his life. While Todd (my DH) and I thought we were a little more prepared for this whole parenting thing after having successfully (and I use that word lightly) raised two dogs to adulthood, it turns out we are still screwing up and making bad decisions or are oblivious to the need to make a decision at all. Some of those adventures are within this blog...the rest--the more candid version--remains untold for now. |
