About me

Introduction	I'm Zelda, and I started this blog to record Zach's battle with prostate cancer and to share the story of our lives together. Zach didn’t want to tell anyone about his diagnosis—not even his parents and siblings—and I promised I wouldn’t tell either. I respected his wishes and kept it a secret. Until now. I’m breaking my silence now because I need to share what we’re going through. It’s so very hard. Zach is everything to me. And since I can’t share with friends or family, I’m using pseudonyms to tell our story and at the same time, keep my promise to Zach. If you, or someone you love, are living with cancer, I hope these posts help you feel a little less alone, and maybe help you smile now and then. And if you're one of Zach's friends or family members, I hope this explains what he's been going through, and helps you start to forgive him for not telling you about his diagnosis.
