IntroductionThe Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) was established on 21st December 1965 by an Act of Parliament, Cap 256 of the Laws of Kenya. It is a member of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and is recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross. Its constitution is based on the Geneva Conventions of 1949, the Additional Protocols of 1977 and the Fundamental Principles of the Movement, namely: Humanity Impartiality Neutrality Independence Voluntary Service Unity Universality. Youth Program is based on 4-Part Objectives of the Youth Movement within the Red cross and Red Crescent Societies.The term 'Youth' is taken to cover a broad age 7-30 years. The 4-Part Youth Program i)Dissemination of Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles and international Humanitarian Law ii)The protection of Health and Life iii)Community Service iv)Promotion of National and International Friendship and understanding by using international Links of the Movement
