Introduction	I still live in a big city, but–now–it isn’t Austin, Texas. It’s Seoul, South Korea. I moved here in 2022 and am a kindergarten teacher in one of the southwest districts in Seoul. I really love teaching (I’m a 7th generation teacher, didja know?) The work environment isn’t always the greatest (sometimes toxic) but, it works and I ‘keep on truckin’’ as my mom advises! I”m learning Korean, Dutch, and continuing with my Spanish language learning journey. I take a lot of photos here and walk a lot. I’m trying to figure out filming videos of where I walk around so I can put it on youtube. I still love to knit, and paint, and listen to music, etc. but now I am so tired from wrangling between 12 and 50 kiddoes every day (I teach five to seven different groups of students each day) that I often let myself doomscrool cos it is so much easier to do when you’re tired than to do something useful and worthwhile, but I”m keep trying. I hope you enjoy my ramblings!!
Interests	reading, writing, laughing, listening to music, watching movies, eating with my wonderful friends, creating things, hiking and kayaking.
Favorite movies	It's a wonderful life, White Christmas, Emma, Life is Beautiful,
Favorite music	Billy Joel, Roger Miller, Neil Diamond, Sam Cooke and most of the stuff from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, Disney, and showtunes.
Favorite books	Anything Jane Austen, anything JK Rowling, and almost anything found in the young adult or children's section in the bookstore. Roots by Alex Haley, anything by DH Parker. :)
