| Introduction | I am a retired British Army officer currently living and working in Annapolis MD USA. I recently returned from 6 plus years in east Africa. I moved to Kenya in 2002 and on to Uganda in 2005, returning to the US in 2008. I was in the military for 30 years and, on retirement, spent eight years living in Washington DC, teaching and undertaking research for the US Dept of Defense, My interests are in Conflict, Politics and Health, and the inter-relationships between them. Over the past 10 years I have researched and written widely on many aspects of conflict and health. The aim of this blog is to attempt to widen the debate on these subjects, by regularly commenting on current issues of international health and conflict. This blog site in the main contains copies of articles I have published in US current affairs magazines. Any inter-action, in form of comment and criticism will be most welcome |
