Introduction	I am a 66 year old, hereditary Celtic Witch. I live in Colorado at the foot of the Rockies with my wonderful husband, two cats, forty roses and several hundred wildflowers and perennials. I am a lifelong gardener, amateur rosarian, novelist and poet. Since my Croning I have experienced the great freedom of knowing myself and exactly what I think. Not to mention saying what I think and meaning it - without much giving a damn who agrees. This and wisdom are the gifts that age gives women, if they are paying attention. Marilyn Monroe was right, "Sooner or later gravity catches up with all of us," plastic surgery or no plastic surgery. It is wise to have something to fall back on when one is finally confronted with the hard reality that society’s narrow understanding of beauty is a commodity of diminishing return.
