| Introduction | My name is Robert Krikac and I am an interior design educator living and working in Eastern Washington. I hold a Master of Science degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University where I had a very successful 25 year career as an interior designer for several award-winning architectural firms. In 1998, I moved to Washington state and became a professor of Interior Design for Washington State University. My current area of research and speciality is freehand sketching and its relationship to creativity in designing built environments. Sketching is how I think, how I design, and I believe it is only with the ability to pictorially document the design process, that designers and architects are able to fully engage the creative process. |
