| Introduction | My full name is Casey MacLaren Marx - Casey Mac in full enduring mode. I was rescued by Gene and Victoria Marx from a Minnesota farm in July 2008. At that time I was a half-starved 7-month-old Border Collie at the bottom of the pecking order of a seven pup litter, among 2 or 3 litters as a matter of fact, trying to cope with cattle, horses, and humans that couldn't figure out what to do with a laid-back love-junky. Man...am I ever glad the Marx's came along! Gene is a retired Fed and my Frisbee mentor, with most of what's left of his free time being dominated by the anti-war effort and Veterans For Peace - www.vfp111.org. He thinks his neighborhood walks are boring, but I just dig being with him. Victoria is my beautiful new Mom, and definitely the disciplinarian in the family...but she gives the greatest massages. I love to watch her garden - flowers galore and vegetables - and chasing the water hose. |
