Introduction	In August of 2001 my husband Dick and I said good-bye to our regular life and moved into a 5th wheel trailer. Our goal was to follow the sunshine and warm weather. And to visit every National Park in America. And to live in the most beautiful and exotic places in America if only for a few weeks at a time. Two years into our adventure we visited the RV mecca of Quartsite, Arizona where a rock and mineral show was happening. I've been a rock hound from birth but it was that January day at the show when I realized my compelling connection to stones. I bought a few supplies, went back to the trailer and started by designing earrings. eBay provided the selling platform and Stone Savvy was born. It fit perfectly with trailer life. My passion flourished. Along with eBay, I now have a shop on Etsy, an online market for all things handmade. We finished our tenth year living in a trailer the summer of 2011. We knew it would be the best adventure of our lives; we never realized it would last that long. As of fall 2011 we've become normal again. A stick-built house is full of luxuries that we haven't known for a decade. And the open road still beckons.
Interests	taking cool pictures, hiking or walking every day, beach campfires, making unique jewelry, coloring with my grandkids, feeding hummingbirds, experiencing the wonders of nature, all of southern Utah, shopping in National Park gift shops, outdoor showers, cooking with my soul mate, reading books that I can't put down, keeping a journal, beating a cold with NyQuil, peeling oranges, towns with only blinking stoplights, pecans or walnuts or sunflower seeds in salads, warming my lap with a little dog, laughing until there are tears running down my cheeks, having best friends for life
