| Introduction | Howdy! I am the ninth child of ten, the youngest girl from a strong, German heritage, Catholic family. I was raised on the family farm in the small town of Riviera, Texas. I have lived in the Rio Grande Valley for many years and have two children. My daughter is married to a 'Coastie' and they are currently stationed in Virginia. My son is attending college in Edinburg and will transfer to Dallas in about a year and half. At that point my education career will move me from the Rio Grande Valley to a more 'northern' location, possibly the San Antonio or Austin area. This move will enable me to experience some serious hiking, biking and nature exploration which are some of my favorite activities. I have been an educator for 21 years, the last 6 of which have been spent in a very enjoyable and challenging position as a technology integration specialist for an ESC. I look forward to earning my masters degree and enhancing my career as I progress through the courses. |
