| Introduction | MAS-SAMple is an artist-led initiative based in the North East of England, embracing contemporary artistic practice and dialogue within the Caribbean Diaspora. Founded in 2007 by artists Andrea Macdonald and Sheree Mack, this initiative aims to provide a platform for artists and organisations working at the intersection of visual arts, live performance and literature. MAS-SAMple will create new opportunities for artistic production that advocates collaboration, creative investigation, risk and new methods of distribution, in partnership with international practitioners, organisations and cultural sites. |
