| Introduction | Cooking and eating was always a part of my life. I come from an Italian-American family where you still sit at the kids table even if you are in your twenties and no matter if no one eats them or not you need to always roast chestnuts after Christmas dinner! I learned to appreciate food and entertaining from my grandmother, Alda and my nana Virginia, no matter what the dish or if they knew you were coming it was always delicious and there was always enough. My mother, Ann instilled in me a sense of welcoming guests in and always having that open door policy, which is why I love entertaining. I believe in giving my guests what they want and stand by an "as you like it" belief. I also believe in having fun in the kitchen because food is fun and it is there to be enjoyed and shared. |
