| Introduction | Kevin and I were married on December 10, 2001. After trying unsuccessfully for five years we were finally blessed by the adoption of two boys in 2006, first Maliek Avery and then his older brother Dae'Shawn. We never do things in the right order, so it just fits that younger siblings would come first in our house LOL. Maliek was adopted in June 2007 and we finally gained full custody of Dae in May 2008. In 2011 we were surprised to find out that we were expecting, and that this was a viable pregnancy. Stryder Don Kendrick was born in Sept 2011. He's our little miracle and the completion to our happy family! |
| Interests | Anything our kids are interested in :). Kylee loves to read, she hasn't read anything by Dean Koontz or Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child she didn't love. Kevin enjoys snowboarding, the outdoors and anything Piratey. Dae'Shawn is our oldest and lives for football. He plays corner and any other position the coach wants him on. His favorite color is Red and if he had one hundred pairs of Jordan's it still wouldn't be enough. Maliek loves to dance and can tear it up freestyle. He has a contagious laugh and loves attention. His favorite color is Red and he wants to be just like his brother when he grows up. |
| Favorite movies | We enjoy anything pixar. Kylee's favorite movie is The Notebook. Kevin loves the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Dae'Shawn's favorite princess is Jasmine and he likes the Aladdin movies. Maliek is really into High School Musical right now and *sigh* Justin Bieber :X. |
| Favorite music | Mostly rap - Tech N9ne, Jay-Z, E-40 etc. Kevin likes punk rock and is slowly trying to convert his boys, Maliek is a dual listener but Dae'Shawn is sticking it out. |
| Favorite books | Marley and Me is really good. I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell may be the funniest book I've ever read. |
