Introduction	I get so intimidated by these profile statements. I am a person, first and foremost, of the female persuasion. I love bargains, and turning trash into treasure, and hanging out with friends drinking wine. We are silly people who believe strongly in growing our own food, preserving as much of it as possible for the off season, and living an indulgently sustainable lifestyle. Which means we don't let any food go to waste, but we aren't about to give up toilet paper thankyouverymuch. Cheapness is a lifestyle not so much because we don't have money, but because what we have, we'd like to keep! This blog documents the journey of my life, all the crazy (and often delicious!) things that I get myself into, and hopefully a glimpse into the fun I have along the way.
