| Introduction | I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. God led my family to Northwest Valley Baptist Church in 1993. There, through Bible preaching, the bloodshed of Christ, the drawing of the Holy Spirit, and His amazing grace, God reconciled my soul to a right relationship with Him. Public high school was a mission-field, but I decided on Christian college. I attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I loved the Christian atmosphere and made life-long friends. After college I worked on staff at the WILDS. I learned much about Biblical Counseling and humility in service. The people, place, and program truly changed my life. The Wilds is also where I met and started dating Benjamin Coulson. Next, I spent six months in Greenville working in Pediatric Home Health and then decided to pursue Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing. I moved home to work for Phoenix Children's Hospital. In May 2005 Ben came out to visit. On a beautiful star-lit night we took a gondola ride through a garden and he proposed! We got married January 21, 2006! After 8 months in Phoenix, we moved to Northland Baptist Bible College for Benjamin to pursue a degree in Pastoral Studies. |
