| Introduction | KEVIN TIMMERMANS I live on Madrona hill in Seattle. I'm married to a beautiful redhead. I've been a bartender, a waiter, a music store manager, an accountant, a landscaper, and a DJ at my college radio station. Currently I'm a graphic artist for Raleigh Bicycles, where I've worked since 2003. I've been called a bum, but I prefer the term "bohemian." I read, I write, I draw, I paint. I ride bicycles and trains. I like to walk. I'm a cynical bastard. I love to kayak, camp, and ski. I like lederhosen and trees & shrubs. I love dogs. I love to travel. I love to eat & drink. I believe that even vegetarians harbor a secret love of bacon. History fascinates me, NASCAR bores me to tears. I've ridden my bicycle from Seattle to Portland in one day (210 miles), and I once ran a half marathon with only 3 days of training. I became a father for the first time in June of '09. Black humor makes me laugh; prejudice, racism and ignorance make me cry. I blur the lines. All photos were taken by me (mostly) or a companion (sometimes), unless otherwise noted at the time. |
