| Introduction | For the first 35 years of my life my goal was to be a lawyer. I was going to make an impact in the big world. Maybe single, but I was fine with that. I wouldn't settle for an average marriage, I wanted someone who fulfilled me in all the important aspects. I got everything, and more when I met Mark. He came into my life and changed everything. I no longer wanted a "big world", I wanted a small, rich world with him. He had a heart bigger than anyone I knew, was smart beyond description, very modest, had a great (dry) sense of humor, and was pretty cute too! When you truly love someone, you can't describe why - there were so many indefinable qualities, the ones that I miss the most. There were hard times, but they were just the "worse" in for better or worse. I was fortunate to have had him in my life...and I'm lost without him. He passed away suddenly on July 22nd 2008. I'm surrounded by friends and family, but I'm all alone without Mark. You really never do know which day is your last - or the last of the ones you love. Love them today. |
