| Introduction | Proud grandmother - and mother to five incredible young adults! I'm a visionary who is often unsettled - thus finding new adventures. I'm pretty private but love quite deeply. I'm reserved but passionate in many areas. I love my family and friends! I am grateful for the life that God has given to me! I was the founding Executive Director of Acres of Hope and had the wonderful opportunity to create this dynamic ministry. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management from CSU, Sacramento. Prior to Acres of Hope I served as the Executive Director for the California Coalition for Youth (CCY) where I oversaw the operations of the California Youth Crisis Line, the only statewide crisis hotline serving at-risk youth. I also served as the Program Administrator for the California Tax Education Council (CTEC), a statewide nonprofit organization previously operated by the Department of Consumer Affairs and was formed by the State Legislature to have oversight by a private entity. My husband, Darrell, and I lived in Rocklin CA and are beginning a new chapter in our lives of being grandparents - which moves us to Indianola Iowa in 2009. |
