About me

Gender Female
Occupation Childbirth Educator
Location Maine
Introduction I teach independent childbirth classes in Central Maine, and lead a free new mamas group called Mamas and Muffins. I believe that birth can be an empowering, transforming experience for women and their partners, and that our bodies are powerfully and amazingly prepared to give birth. Birthing Your Baby classes help parents explore and understand the range of their choices for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum life. I live with my husband and two children, our dog and our two cats. In addition to birth work, I homeschool my daughter and am involved in my church and at the grade school. I read a lot, work in my gardens, enjoy cooking with local food, and love spending time with my family outside.
